We’re about to begin Week Two of Remote Learning, and before we do, I’d just like to thank everyone for your efforts during this time. It’s not easy having the year and all the previously established routines uprooted and changed so quickly, but you’ve done great work in adapting and adjusting and in making the best of the current situation. As we move into next week, there are a few procedural reminders and few adjustments of note:
1. Please keep checking my website, mrhakimsclass.weebly.com, for all assignments and notes. I’ve updated the classroom pages to account for Week One and Week Two lessons. For anyone who still needs to complete work from Week One, please do so as soon as possible.
2. The schedules posted on each page remain suggested/recommended. Again, the timing by which you choose to complete it within the week is up to you. It does need to be finished within the week, and regarding schedule, all I ask is that your daily writing is in fact done each day, not all at once. It’s been a mix of emotions reading through your responses, but all who’ve submitted so far have done well to show the impact this has had, mentally, physically and emotionally. I appreciate the honesty and awareness to everything that’s been written so far!
Please Submit Work
3. To help ensure everything runs more smoothly in the transition back to school on, I’m asking that everyone submit work to me by the end of each week. Simply e-mail it to me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please label everything before submitting it so that I know dates and assignments.
Office Hours and Contacting Me
4. A final adjustment: As we’re getting deeper into some of the assignments, or starting newer assignments, I’d like to help out as best as I can. That said, I’m opening office hours on Google Hangout each day from 10-12. You can contact me during that time on Hangout with email@example.com or via e-mail at any time at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please continue to be safe, be careful, social distance, wash your hands and, above all things, cherish this extra time with family and keep trusting in and praying to God!
Miss you all, and can’t wait to see you soon!
